And how did NaNoWriMo work out for you guys? I ended up having to give up because of family matters, but I want to know if you finished - if you didn't, don't worry, there is always next year, and if you did, CONGRATULATIONS!

Contest at a Close
So the time has come my darlings. The contest has finished! I know, so sad. But it had to happen eventually.
With only three submissions, I was a little sad at the lack of people participating, but never the less, here are the places those three very awesome deviants earned.

Contest Update!
So...it makes me really sad that no one has submitted anything for this contest yet and I really wish that this wasn't the case, because I would love to do more with this contest and take it as a sign that we should have more, but I have yet to see anyone participate :(
So I have decided to extend the deadline to the end of the month, and hopefully we'll start getting submissions, I plan to write my own six word story and add it to the contest (not to win, but to get the ball rolling) and to clear things up, I'm allowing non-members to write a story as well!
I hope to see some great works from you guys and cannot wait to read them! Good luc

So it's here! The much promised contest! Yayyyyyyy!!!!!!
Now, it's a bit cliche, but it's something we did in my writing class that really I thought was a powerful tool and would be great for anyone seeking a challenge.
Has anyone heard of the six word sentence?
Yes? No?
Well it's a sentence that is meant to tell a story in only six words, yet use those six words so powerfully that nothing else is needed.
Though it sounds easy enough, when you sit down to actually write it, you realize the words are coming too fast with too many and goodness how are you supposed to put all that into six words right?
Well that's where this contest comes in

So hello my lovely group members, I hope your summers went well and you enjoyed them. I know I did.
Well...wow, where to start this one. Well I'll start with my life atm.
In less than a week I start classes at college and could not be more excited and ready to take this massive step into the next chapter of my life. Uh, second...my friend, and once upon a time admin of this group, leaves to go across the state in two days. And my writing gears have been turning like mad.
With all the chaos of graduating, orientations, college visits, grad parties, vacations, and the like, I have seriously neglected this group. What brought me slamming back
